Do you have a careers question or require some careers advice? The Careers Centre offers the following services to help you get your career started or support your current career goals.

Express Drop In Service

Have an express inquiry? Unsure if you need to book an appointment to see a careers adviser? The Careers Centre Drop In counter located in the North East corner of Student Central is open daily (Monday to Friday) from 9:00am to 4:30pm. Students are welcome to drop by the counter at any time and no appointment is necessary.

Career Advice or Career Planning

You can book an appointment online to meet with a qualified career adviser. Appointments run for 30 minutes and are available from Monday to Friday all year round (excluding the University Christmas Shutdown).

Resume or LinkedIn Reviews

You can book an appointment to have your Resume or LinkedIn Profile reviewed by a career adviser. Reviews are available for 30 minutes from Monday to Friday all year round (excluding the University Christmas Shutdown).

New Directions

New Directions is a career exploration program that may assist you in making course and career related decisions. Users of New Directions are required to first undertake the 45 minute computer assessment on one of the computers located in the Careers Centre. Following completion of this assessment, a follow-up 60 minute appointment is needed with a qualified career adviser which can be booked at anytime through CareerHub.

You can complete the New Directions computer assessment during Careers Centre opening hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm) and no appointment is necessary.

Careers Quiz

Take the Careers quiz; It will help you to assess your career skills and awareness of what you need and what you will need to learn to make effective career decisions, develop your career and readiness for work.  When you have completed the quiz you will gain a summary of your results and feedback about what to do next.
